Reiki? What's that?

Reiki is Japanese for the comprehensive study and use of life energies.
It's built up out of-
Rei, which is universal and without boundaries.
Ki, which is the life energy that runs through all of us.
(Might also be called Prana or Chi)

It's one of the systems that uses 'Hands on Healing' which is basically the transfer of healing energy through someone’s hands. Either to him or herself or the client.
It may also be passed through the others aura.

We are all born with our own individual Ki. However through the ages many of us have forgotten how we may harness this energy.
This is where Reiki comes into play. It helps opening the gateway of your Ki so that it may run through you freely once more.

When giving Reiki I will act as a channel between the client and the universal energies. They pass through my hands so to speak.

One important thing that I will have to mention is that Reiki is not a cure for whatever it is that is upsetting your body. If anything it's an spiritual aid. It will help open the blockades to your spiritual energy letting them run more freely through both your physical as your spiritual being.
